Penthouse Magazine flips history on its head with ‘Badass’ first-ever double cover for the July/August issue

LOS ANGELES (July 9, 2021) – For the first time since its 1965 inception, Penthouse Magazine will feature two covers. The July/August 2021 issue of the publication will be adorned by July Pet of the Month Sky Wonderland on one side, and August Pet of the Month Cherie Noel on the other. Featuring an interview with actor Danny Trejo, a showcase of the top models of ManyVids, among other great reads and tantalizing pictorials, this installment appropriately entitled “The Badass Issue” will have readers seeing double when they discover they can flip the magazine around and upside down, to find two distinct covers housing its contents.

What’s inside, in addition to Penthouse’s signature interviews and pictorials are cover model Cherie Noel’s August Pet layout shot by photographer Tina Lou, and cover model Sky Wonderland’s July Pet layout by photographer Gerald De Behr.

When the surprise double cover was revealed to July 2021 Pet of the Month Sky Wonderland, she exclaimed, “I love it! This is so beautiful. I’ve always wanted to shoot for Penthouse, and to see myself on the cover – this is wonderful! It’s a dream come true.”

Cherie Noel, August 2021 Pet of the Month, explained she had been dreaming of this moment for years. “I actually shot for Penthouse Australia in 2019,” she said, “So I was really excited to work with Penthouse America, especially since I’m American.” Noel was equally thrilled to get a look at her Pet layout and cover. “I had so much fun. The whole team – everybody – was so amazing! I truly feel I’m living my dream job at this moment.”

Sam Phillips, Director of Pet Projects at Penthouse, said of the innovative layout, “This July/August issue of Penthouse is groundbreaking and guaranteed to become a collector’s edition.
