Producer/Director Glenn King to Be Inducted into AVN Hall of Fame

AVN announced yesterday that long-time Producer/Director Glenn King will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class. King is one of the pioneers of the Femdom genre and is the creator of the well-known MeanBitches.com website.

Glenn King started in the Adult Industry in 2002 as a webmaster for a fetish site and soon expanded into producing and directing scenes for DVD’s. After distributing through Gentlemen’s Video and Kickass Pictures, he was asked by John Stagliano to direct for Evil Angel. He later moved to Exquisite Pictures, who distributes for him today. King won industry acclaim in 2017, capturing the AVN Award for “Best Web Director”. Over the years, he has produced/directed well over 2,000 scenes.

In addition to his success as a producer, he is also well known for his work as a radio host. King was the first male host at Playboy Spice Radio, and currently hosts a podcast with over 70,000 subscribers called “Mature Audiences Mayhem.” He also has contributed to the industry by moderating panels at the AVN Expo and was a highly influential member of the FSC Advisory Board during the time when they created the PASS system.

It’s about all the fans who have enjoyed my videos and spread the word about us, and it’s about all the people who showed kindness to me and helped me along the way. David Christopher helped me get my start in the business. John Stagliano helped elevate me from the world of fetish into a much bigger audience. Farrell Hirsch and Christy Canyon gave me my start in Radio. Christian Mann helped me understand our industry and where I fit in. Bill Fox helped me with everything in my life. My Production Manager Jim Orlando is the guy who does all the work. The actresses and actors who appear in my videos deserve most of the credit; they are the ones the fans pay to see. And, I have been blessed to work with some of the very best Makeup Artists, Camera, and crew. I owe all of them a huge thanks! I am grateful to the people at AVN for giving me this great honor. And lastly, I must thank the fans. The fans are the ones who have made it possible for me to do what I do.”

The AVN Hall of Fame Class of 2020 will be officially inducted at the 2020 AVN Awards Show, which takes place January 25. And they’ll also be celebrated at the kickoff event to the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), which will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas a week from today (January 21), the night before AEE begins. The Welcome Industry Cocktail Party begins at 9 p.m. at Goose Island in the main casino area, and is open to all trade attendees of AEE and the AVN Novelty Expo.
