Starting today, Grooby is launching a competition for ‘Grooby Girls’ to design its exclusive merchandise for 2023. The two winners will also receive $1000 for their artwork, which will be used as part of Grooby’s merchandise line worn by performers.
“From what I see on social media, so many of our models are also talented artists and designers, and we thought it would be a great opportunity to see if we could get some of them designing our run of merchandise for 2023,” said Grooby’s Marketing and Talent Director Mike Francis. “Our limited edition ‘single-run’ t-shirts and hoodies are given to models – and they’re eagerly awaited each year. We love to see the models wearing them, and posting them on social media.”
To enter the competition, the artist agrees that:
-
The design submitted is an original design and includes no copyright/trademarked material*
-
They are able to deliver the design in a format that can be used to print on clothing
-
All submissions to be delivered by Jan 21, 2023.
Two winning designs will be selected to be used in a future Grooby merchandise run, with $1000 being awarded to each winner. The artist will be able to sign the artwork submitted and Grooby will promote the winners across all outlets.
If the design isn’t selected for the competition but the company is interested in using it elsewhere, Grooby will offer payment for the artwork use. No Designs will be shown outside the competition and only be used for the purpose of the competition itself.
