(Hollywood, CA) Forbes has spotlighted multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood in an online piece called “How the Hardest Working Director in Porn Gets the Job Done,” penned by Senior Contributor Susannah Breslin.
Last month, Forbes Senior Contributor Susannah Breslin went on set for the making of Digital Playground’s “Project X,” directed by Ricky Greenwood and starring Mick Blue and Cherie DeVille. The piece has many key observations by Breslin and the backstory of how Ricky got into the adult arena and has made big-budget adult films/projects. Ricky talks about Michael Bay of “Transformers” fame as one of the directors he admires the most. Breslin really gets Ricky, mainly when she writes about “high production value being his signature.” Other interesting points in the Forbes feature include Ricky barely directing sex to make it more natural, caring about what he does, and wanting it to be good and his films being more than just porn to him. Ricky also discusses the differences in how Europe vs the US sees porn directors.
“I’m honored to be featured on Forbes in a piece that lends positivity to our industry. Susannah was a pleasure to have on set, and I’m thrilled with the article and photos. She really got me, and that definitely shone through in the feature,” says Ricky Greenwood.
Digital Playground’s “Project X” is slated for release in August. Read “How the Hardest Working Director in Porn Gets the Job Done” at forbes.com/sites/ susannahbreslin/2024/07/26/ how-the-hardest-working- director-in-porn-gets-the-job- done.
