Sssh.com’s New Mirror Game Generates Mainstream Buzz

Sssh.com’s newest release, Mirror Game is captivating audiences both within and outside of the adult industry–and the acclaim keeps growing. Anna Lee of 2049 Entertainment was dazzled: “Amazing release for @ssshforwomen and @AngieRowntree – brilliant and beautifully executed!”

Rich Moreland, author of Pornography Feminism: As Powerful as She Wants to Be, also has weighed in: “Mirror Game – It doesn’t get better than this.”

However, even prior to its release, numerous hosts on the podcast circuit have expressed a desire to get to know more about the film, and the lead actress in Mirror Game, June Ann.

June Ann said. “Whenever they show a clip during the podcast, the host and guests have always commented on the quality first. They instantly mention that this is not your everyday porn–and I love that!“

Indeed, film reviewer Calico Rudasill has remarked on Mirror Game’s cleverly woven storyline: “As the saying goes, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. And with Mirror Game, Rowntree has plotted an expedition that’s well worth taking.”

Ahead of Mirror Game’s release, June Ann was invited on radio shows Iggy & Biff’s World Travels and Letz Get Loud, and also hosted “The Newlywed Game” on The Sex Drugs & Rock n ’ Roll Show with Ralph Sutton and Big Jay Oakerson. In addition, June Ann did the Race Wars comedy podcast, the St. Louis comedian Anthony Rogers show, and the Ham Radio Show.

More recently, this week June Ann joined comedienne and fellow redhead, Chrissie Mayr, on The Wet Spot — Compound Media’s popular, sex-positive mainstream comedy show. (Mayr herself appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, FOX’s Laughs, FOX’s Punchline, The Chris Gethard Show, and The Wendy Williams Show). June Ann said, “Being on the Wet Spot was definitely a memorable experience. I had a blast getting to chat with Chrissie and her other guests about Mirror Game and the mystery of the internal female orgasm!”

Meanwhile, director Angie Rowntree recently appeared on Girl Boner Radio (with June Ann) and the Jenny McCarthy Show to discuss both Mirror Game and the creative direction of Sssh.com more broadly.
