Award-winning adult star and Jiu-Jitsu expert Will Pounder is honored to host the SUBVERSIV 7 team grappling tournament Saturday June 11 at The Commerce Casino & Hotel.

The event will be broadcast on digital streaming service FITE TV, which is dedicated to pulse-pounding combat sport programming.

Pounder is joined by legendary combat sports analyst Robin Black and commentators Hector Lombard and Brandon McGaraham at the high profile jiu jitsu event, which features three 8-man brackets, and $30,000 in cash prizes.

Match-ups at the world’s largest team grappling tournament include Nick Rodriguez vs Sloan Clymer, Kaynan Duarte vs. Javier Gonzalez.

Pounder is a devoted health & fitness advocate and accomplished mixed martial artist. While in the Marine Corps he competed on weekends, taught the All-Marine Grappling Team, ran the All-Marine Competition Team at Camp Pendleton, and started the jiu-jitsu club in Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in 2008.

In August 2019, he competed in a team grappling tournament televised by UFC Fight Pass, fighting on the team captained by former UFC welterweight, mixed martial artist and boxer Chris “Lights Out” Lytle.

“It’s an honor to share the stage with so many great fighters,” said Pounder. “These are professionals at the top of their game and there’s a lot on the line for these guys — including the highest payout ever in the history of team grappling — so this is sure to be an exciting tournament!”
