HUSTLER Magazine 48th Anniversary Issue Available Today The Icon issue: HUSTLER’s Legends of the 21st Century

596 issues, nearly 4,000 models and 48 years of uncompromising adult entertainment

HUSTLER Magazine’s 48th Anniversary issue is available today on newsstands and in digital format. The issue pays tribute to the living legends that are the lifeblood of the adult industry with its list of HUSTLER legends. Ten XXX icons are named and crowned: Angela White, Abella Danger, Ana Foxxx, Cherie DeVille, Abigail Mac, Riley Reid, Romi Rain, Jill Kassidy, Lisa Ann and Brigette B. The issue also features pictorials of Casey Calvert, Scarlit Scandal and newcomer Annie. HUSTLER is indebted to the incredible performers who make porn possible.

Outrageous, irreverent and funny are the words Larry Flynt used to describe what he was looking for in a HUSTLER cartoon. Larry always considered the cartoons to be as important as any other element of his magazine. In a single frame they have the ability to convey biting political satire, thought-provoking social commentary and, of course, roll-on-the-ground humor. So it is naturally fitting that the issue celebrates the five cartoonists who have contributed in no small way to the magazine’s success through the decades and into this century: George Winners, Bob Muleady, George Trosley, John Billette and Dan Collins.

In her Publisher’s Statement, Liz Flynt speaks about the positive growth HUSTLER has seen in the adult industry through the years. Today’s performers take pride in their brand and control of their careers. They connect with fans and create and market their own content. However, Flynt also warns that opposition to respect and freedom—both in the industry and the country—continues and says, “HUSTLER will always defend the rights of sex workers, performers and pornographers to do their jobs without oppressive interference. We will always advocate for women’s and LGBTQ rights. We will lobby to protect freedom of speech. This is our past. This is our future.”

Since 1976, HUSTLER has showcased amateur models in each issue for its annual Beaver Hunt contest. This issue unveils the 13 women vying for Beaver of the Year. Readers are encouraged to pick their favorite model and vote by mail or email. Voters must be 18 or older, and ballots must be postmarked or received electronically by 11:59 p.m. (PDT) on 8/31/22. The winner will appear in a full-length nude pictorial, pocket $1,500 and score bragging rights.

Also, in the issue, reporter Scott Feinblatt enters the world of skating—roller skating, that is. Folks have been lacing up their skates for centuries, but recently the sport has seen a healthy growth, as thousands broke through the gloom of quarantine to discover the joys of roller skating. Feinblatt caught up with five skating celebrities and lifestylers to hear their stories and photograph these fabulous women in action.

HUSTLER is America’s most popular adult magazine. Based in Beverly Hills, California, it has published monthly since July 1974 and continues to deliver the most naked pages of any adult publication available today.
