Home of the original potty humor, Hey Poopy Podcast is celebrating its first successful year of fart jokes, deuce drops and some healthy storytelling.
The popular weekly show, hosted every Wednesday by Dave Byrd and Ellen Stagg in New York, marked its one-year anniversary on the January 22 episode, with Stagg taking part in an on-air rectal examination at the hands of renowned New York City anal surgeon Dr. Evan Goldstein.
“After one year and more than 50 episodes, Dave and I realized that our silly, funny little podcast has evolved into an informative gathering place to bring awareness and interest into learning more about this very vital part of basic human health.”
Byrd and Stagg let loose on a wide range of explosive topics every week, with podcast guests in feces-centric fields such as plumbers, colon therapists, nutritionists, anal surgeons, cancer survivors, porn stars, animal conservationists and regular people that poop.
Launched in January 2019 with the premise of two friends talking about the unpredictable hilarities and mishaps when it comes to Number Two. “We believe that laughter is the best medicine… unless, of course, you have diarrhea,” says Stagg.
Stagg promises future episodes that feature interviews with fecal implant experts, porta-potty operators, sewer treatment plant workers, innovators in the world of tech and nutrition, “and as always, more funny guests who will be bringing laugh-out-loud poop stories.”
